Elizabeth Tong, M.D.

Dr. Elizabeth Tong received her MD degree from the University of California San Diego. She completed clinical residency training in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. Then she attended two clinical fellowships in Neuroradiology, one at the University of California San Francisco and the other at Stanford University. After training she went on to teach at Stanford University as an assistant professor of Radiology focusing on neuroradiology and pediatric neuroradiology.

She has received previous research grant support from the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine and RSNA, has published peer-reviewed research, and has presented at national and international meetings. Her areas of professional interest are neuroimaging (multimodal stroke imaging, CT and MR Perfusion, functional MRI, etc.), image-guided procedures (biopsies, lumbar puncture, blood patch, nerve blocks), and protocol QA/QI.
