Divisions
Dr. Hightower received her BA from Harvard College, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology. She obtained her medical degree from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, then went on to complete her Diagnostic Radiology residency at the University of California, San Francisco. She completed a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology, also at UCSF, and is dual-certified in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology. Her clinical interests include interventional oncology, genitourinary and hepatobiliary interventions, and minimally invasive pain management. She is a member of multiple professional organizations including the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) and the Radiologic Society of North America (RSNA).
Her personal interests outside of work include spending time with her husband and two daughters, as well as their black lab, Fenway. She enjoys eating, cooking, spending time outdoors, and playing and coaching basketball and softball.
