Dr. Hightower received her undergraduate degree from Harvard College, she received her B.A in Molecular and Cellular Biology, Magna Cum Laude. She obtained her medical degree from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Then went on to complete a diagnostic radiology residency program at the University of California, San Francisco, followed by a fellowship program with emphasis in interventional radiology, also at UCSF. Her clinical interests include image-guided procedures including, but not limited to, interventional oncology, genitourinary interventions, and minimally invasive pain management. She is a member of multiple professional organizations including the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) and the Radiologic Society of North America (RSNA).
Her personal interests outside of work include spending time with her husband and two daughters, as well as their black lab, Fenway. She enjoys cooking, baking, hiking, spending time outdoors, playing and coaching basketball and softball.
