Dr. Jonathan Tran is a San Francisco native who completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Los Angeles, earning a B.S. in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology. He obtained his medical degree from Touro University California in the Bay Area and began his medical career as an intern at Highland Hospital in Oakland.
Dr. Tran pursued his diagnostic radiology residency training at UMass Baystate on the East Coast, where in his final year, he completed a mini fellowship in breast imaging. He returned to his hometown to complete an Abdominal Imaging and Ultrasound fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco.
In his new role as a general radiologist, Dr. Tran has a keen interest in abdominal MRIs.
Outside of medicine, he enjoys rock climbing and discovering great coffee
