Dr. McKenna is a board certified diagnostic radiologist with a special interest in Women’s Imaging, including ultrasound and breast imaging. She received her medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she also completed an internship in Internal Medicine.
Dr. McKenna completed her residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of California, San Francisco, and served as chief resident. She also completed a fellowship in ultrasound at UCSF, with an emphasis on high risk obstetrics and gynecologic imaging.
She has been practicing general radiology and women’s imaging on the San Francisco Peninsula since 1994. She is a member of multiple professional organizations including the Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound (SRU), the Society of Breast Imaging (SBI), and the American College of Radiology (ACR).
