Dr. Jia grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and attended Emory for college. He graduated from the Medical College of Georgia and completed residency at Northwestern McGaw Medical Center in Chicago before completing abdominal/ultrasound fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco.
